A three-day ‘National Workshop on Higher Education Transformation’ is starting on Tuesday, with the aim of transforming Bangladesh’s higher education system in a timely, inclusive and sustainable manner. Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will inaugurate the workshop.
The workshop, organized by the Bangladesh University Grants Commission (UGC), will be held at the Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Building of Dhaka University.
This information was given in a press release by the UGC on Monday.
The main theme of the workshop is 'Transformation of Higher Education in Bangladesh: A Framework for Sustainable Excellence.'
Government policymakers, UGC members, vice-chancellors of various universities, teachers, researchers, industry representatives and development partners will participate in the day-long workshop, the release said.
