43 senior police officials transferred

Forty three senior officials of Bangladesh Police have been transferred and given new postings.

The transferred officials include five additional deputy inspector generals, 19 additional superintendents of police and 18 superintendents of police and deputy police commissioners.

The Public Security Division of the Home Ministry issued two separate notifications in this regard on Tuesday.

Following President’s order, Deputy Secretary (Police-1 Section) of Public Security Division, Ministry of Home Affairs Md. Mahbubur Rahman issued the notifications.

Earlier, 53 senior officers including 20 Additional DIGs and 31 Superintendents of Police of Bangladesh Police were transferred to various units.
