The admission circular for the independent ‘D’ unit of the Islamic University (IU) for the academic year 2024-25 has been published. Applications for the admission test opened on Sunday and will continue until April 25.
The admission test is scheduled to take place on May 11, from 11 am to 12 pm, according to the admission circular published on Sunday.
The circular says, the application fee for the ‘D’ unit is set at Tk 1,500, which can be paid through online banking. Applicants must have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or equivalent examination in 2023 or 2024 and the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or equivalent examination in 2020, 2021, or 2022.
The admission test will follow the MCQ format, carrying 80 marks, with a deduction of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer. A total of 320 seats are available across four departments under this unit.
