UN Secretary General António Guterres boarded a flight at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport to leave Dhaka at 9.50 am today (March 16).
Earlier, he arrived in Bangladesh on Thursday (March 13) afternoon for a four-day visit at the invitation of Chief Adviser Prof. Muhammad Yunus.
On Friday, he visited Rohingya refugee camps in Ukhiya, Cox's Bazar, and shared iftar with about one lakh refugees.
On Saturday, he engaged in three sessions of talks with the UN Bangladesh country team, political parties, and youth representatives.
Later that afternoon, UN Secretary General took part in a joint press briefing with Foreign Adviser Md Touhid Hossain.
