National Citizens Party (NCP) convener Nahid Islam said the Party's position on reforms was highlighted in the meeting with the UN Secretary General.

“We are committed to the people for reforms and the trial of genocide,” he said.

He told this to the reporters after a roundtable meeting with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres at the capital's Hotel Intercontinental on Saturday.

Nahid Islam said, “The basic foundation for reforms must be laid during the tenure of this government. Without reforms, elections will not work. In addition, we have also highlighted our position on the constitution and the Constituent Assembly.”
