A consignment of 26,250 tonnes of rice arrived at Chattogram Port from Pakistan on Saturday.
The Pakistani vessel “MV MARIAM”, carrying the rice under a Government-to-Government (G2G) deal, anchored at the port in the morning, said Imdad Islam, public relations officer of the food ministry, reports UNB.
The unloading of the rice began after the sample test was conducted.
