The third phase of the second segment of the Bishwa Ijtema has concluded with the Akheri Munajat on Sunday, reports Dhaka Tribune.

It began at 12:37pm and concluded at 1:07pm on the banks of the Turag River in Tongi, Gazipur.

Following the munajat, the surroundings of Tongi’s Turag bank and the Ijtema ground resonated with chants of “Ameen, Ameen,” marking the conclusion of the 58th Bishwa Ijtema.

Maulana Yusuf Bin Saad, the eldest son of India's Maulana Saad Kandhalvi, led the 30-minute-long concluding prayer.

From early morning, worshippers rushed towards the Ijtema ground to participate in the final prayer.

During the Munajat, prayers were offered for the guidance of the global Muslim Ummah, salvation in this world and the hereafter, and for the spread of Islam everywhere.

Additionally, supplications were made for forgiveness of all kinds of sins.

Mohammad Sayem, the coordinator of the Saad-following Tablighi Jamaat's Bishwa Ijtema, said that after the Fajr prayer, Maulana Morsalin (from Delhi’s Nizamuddin) delivered a sermon, which was translated by Bangladesh’s Maulana Mufti Azimuddin.

Following this, at 9:30am, the sermon of guidance (Hedayati Bayan) began.

Maulana Yusuf Bin Saad delivered this speech, and Maulana Munir Bin Yusuf of Bangladesh translated it.

Followers of the Nizamuddin Markaz, including elders and devotees, expressed their hope for a unified Ijtema in the future, setting aside all differences, and ensuring the participation of Maulana Saad Kandhalvi in the next segment.

For the convenience of returning worshippers, the railway department arranged eight special trains.

At Tongi station, all trains except five special trains made stops.

Additionally, extra traffic police were deployed to maintain the smooth flow of vehicles on highways near the Ijtema ground and ensure the safe return of the devotees.

Notably, the second segment of the Bishwa Ijtema (Saad-following group) began on Friday.

Earlier, the first segment, led by the Jubaer-following group, took place on the same ground from January 31 and concluded on February 5.
