The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Friday forecasted that light rain is likely to occur at one or two places over Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions over the country, reports BSS.
"Light rain is likely to occur at one or two places over Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions. Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country", said the 24-hour forecast beginning at 9am on Friday.
A Westerly low trough is located over West Bengal and nearby areas, while a seasonal low persists over the South Bay.
Light to moderate fog may occur over the country during late night to early morning.
Night temperature may fall slightly while day temperatures may remain nearly unchanged across the country.
On Thursday, The country's maximum temperature was recorded at 32.0 degrees Celsius at Khulna, while the lowest temperature today was 09.6 degrees Celsius at Tetulia.
In the capital, the sun sets today at 05:53 PM and rises tomorrow at 06:32 AM.
