Moderate to dense fog may occur at places over the country from midnight to morning and it may continue at places till noon.
Meanwhile, “temperature may fall further for next five days”, said a Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) weather bulletin on Saturday morning, reports BSS.
“Air navigation, inland river transport and road communication may be disrupted temporarily due to dense fog,” it said, adding that night and day temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The weather may remain mainly dry with a temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, it added.
The Met office said that a ridge of sub-continental high extends up to Bihar and the adjoining areas and a seasonal low lies over the South Bay.
The maximum temperature recorded on Friday was 30.4 degrees Celsius in Teknaf in Chattogram division while the minimum temperature recorded on Saturday is 9.9 degrees Celsius in Tetulia in Rangpur Division.
The sun will set at 05:45 pm on Friday and will rise at 06:39 am on Sunday in the capital.
