Lutfozzaman Babar hospitalised

Former state minister Lutfozzaman Babar has been hospitalised after falling ill. He was taken to United Hospital in Dhaka on Sunday evening.

Sources say he suddenly experienced pain on the left side of his chest during a view-exchange meeting with party leaders. He was immediately rushed to the hospital.

Babar had been released from prison on Thursday after 17 years.
