One more dengue patient died and 45 others were hospitalised in the last 24 hours till Saturday morning in the country.
The dengue death toll has risen to four so far this year.
"During the period, 24 dengue patients were hospitalised in Dhaka city while 21 patients were admitted to different hospitals outside the capital city," said a statement of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The total number of dengue cases rose to 573 across the country.
In 2024, the country recorded 575 dengue-related deaths and a total of 101,214 dengue cases.
