The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) formed a three-member committee to investigate the allegations against Major Gen Ziaul Ahsan, reports UNB.
Salahuddin, Deputy Director of the ACC, will lead the committee, with Assistant Director Ranjit Kumar and Deputy Assistant Director Jabed Hasan Sajal serving as members, according to ACC spokesperson Aktarul.
Over the past decade of his career, Ziaul Ahsan has been criticized for his involvement in various controversial activities, including enforced disappearances and murders.
He also served in RAB, National Security Intelligence (NSI) agency, National Telecommunication Monitoring Center (NTMC).
