Five more dengue patients died and 562 others were hospitalised in the last 24 hours till Saturday morning in the country.
The dengue death toll has risen to 522 so far this year.
"During the period, 259 dengue patients were hospitalised in Dhaka city while 303 patients were admitted to different hospitals outside the capital city," said a statement of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The total number of dengue cases rose to 95,632 across the country.
In 2023, the country recorded 1,705 dengue-related deaths and a total of 321,179 dengue cases.
