On Saturday morning, retired officers and members of Bangladesh's armed forces staged a protest rally against Indian aggression and interference. Hundreds gathered at the RAOWA Club in Mohakhali, Dhaka, waving banners and chanting slogans condemning Indian hegemony.
Retired officers emphasised that Bangladesh's sovereignty and independence are non-negotiable, asserting that the nation’s 170 million citizens are united to protect the country’s borders. They declared that trained military personnel stand ready to confront any external threats.
Speakers at the event criticised India’s recent activities, which they alleged to pose a direct threat to Bangladesh’s independence and sovereignty.
They particularly condemned propaganda spread by Indian media.
They also urged all Bangladeshis to stay vigilant against India's misinformation campaigns.
