Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Affairs Adviser Muhammad Fouzul Kabir Khan said, "If the interim government fails, a major revolt will occur."
He made this remarks during a discussion at the HR convention at Southeast University on Friday morning.
He stated that before undertaking major projects, the potential revenue from those should be carefully considered. In the cases of the Padma Bridge and Karnaphuli Tunnel, this was not assessed.
As a result, these projects are incurring higher costs than revenue, leading to wastage.
"Corruption took place in these projects during the Awami League's tenure, as government officials were involved," he added.
He also clarified that foreign recruitment will not be considered for general positions.
Given the shortage of skilled human resources across various sectors in the country, foreigners will only be considered for senior roles.
