Commerce Adviser Sk Bashir Uddin said the current situation will be normalized soon.
“We all have to work together instead of only relying on the government. We are also learning from every situation. The government does not want ongoing anarchy,” he said.
Bashir Uddin made the remarks while addressing a commerce conference titled ‘Private Sector Outlook: Expectations and Priority’ arranged by the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI) at a city hotel on Saturday.
Finance Adviser Salehuddin Ahmed was present as the chief guest.
The commerce adviser said the main objective of the interim government is to normalize the law and order situation. The government is compassionate about this. For this, all have to work together.
He said, “Today or tomorrow we have to liberalize our trade. It is possible if we target the sub-sectors and start taking policy accordingly. The world wants to see Bangladesh as a role model. We have to create our own merits. We have to work independently, not on anyone's identity.”
