The BNP committee has submitted its proposals on the reformation of the police force to the party’s chairperson's office.
Members of the committee submitted the recommendations on November 14 two days before the deadline.
Confirming the matter, BNP media wing member Shairul Kabir Khan said that the deadline for submission of the proposals was today (November 16). However, the committee submitted it two days before.
Earlier, BNP acting Chairman Tarique Rahman formed the six-member committee led by Standing Committee member Hafiz Uddin Ahmed.
Former DIG Sayeed Hasan has been made member secretary of the committee.
Members of the committee are -- former IGP Md Ashraful Huda, former home secretary S M Jahurul Islam, former IGP Md Abdul Kaiyum, and former SP Ansar Uddin Khan Pathan.
