The interim government has announced two official Hajj packages for the upcoming year, with costs significantly reduced. The overall expenses for Hajj have decreased by Tk100,598 compared to the previous year.
Religious Affairs Advisor A F M Khalid Hossain made the announcement on Wednesday while briefing the media.
In 2025, the new Package-1 will cost Tk 478,242, while Package-2 is set at Tk575,680.
Last year, the cost for Package-1 was Tk 578,840, and the special package cost was Tk936,320. However, no special package has been introduced for this year.
The government has also regulated the private Hajj package offered by agencies, setting its base price at Tk483,156. Agencies can add an optional special package if needed.
