901 Rohingyas on way to Bhasan Char

The process of relocating Rohingya refugees from Cox's Bazar camps to Noakhali's Bhasan Char resumed on early Tuesday.

A total of 901 Rohingya persons started the journey to Bhasan Char from Ukhiya Degree College ground at 12:30 am.  

Of them, 506 are new while 395 were shifted to the char earlier but they returned to Cox's Bazar camps for various reasons.

Cox’s Bazar police superintendent Mohammad Rahmat Ullah confirmed the matter.
