The government has appointed 198 government pleaders in various courts in Mymensingh and Moulvibazar.
Last night, the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs issued a separate order regarding these appointments. In the same order, the ministry also canceled the appointments of all previous government law officers.
The newly appointed law officers will serve as government prosecutors, additional government prosecutors, assistant government prosecutors, public prosecutors, additional public prosecutors, and assistant public prosecutors in different courts.
Of the newly appointed officials, 42 were assigned to Moulvibazar and 156 to Mymensingh across the district and session judge courts, subordinate courts, various tribunals, and special judge courts.
M. Azharul Huq and M. Anwar Aziz (Tutul) have been appointed as the government prosecutor (GP) and public prosecutor (PP), respectively, in the Mymensingh district and session judge courts.
In Moulvibazar, Mamunur Rashid and M. Abdul Matin Chowdhury have been appointed as the GP and PP, respectively, in the district and session judge courts.
