BNP’s UK wing president and advisor to party chairperson MA Malik said Sajeeeb Wazed Joy was sent to jail in USA several times and there’s proof of looting 14 million dollars against him.
“However, no one dared to publish news on it in Sheikh Hasina’s regime. Furthermore, many leaders gifted luxurious houses and cars to Sheikh Rehana to please her. We have proof of their crimes,” he said.
MA Malik said this in a view exchange meeting with the journalists at a restaurant in Nairpool area of Sylhet metropolis on Tuesday afternoon.
Malik said, “Everyone knows about the relationship between the Prime Minister of India and Sheikh Hasina. After August 5, she proved it again. Sheikh Hasina's trial for genocide will be held in Bangladesh. Bangladesh has friendly relations with India, but India should not cheat us with that advantage. India must stop border killings. India is responsible for frequent floods in Bangladesh.”
He also said, “We want to give time to the interim government of Dr Yunus. We want an acceptable election in the country under his leadership. Tarique Rahman will return to Bangladesh soon. BNP will form the government under the leadership of Tarique Rahman.”
