The by-election to the Dhaka-seventeen constituency will be held on July 17.
The voting will begin at 8:00 am and continue until 4 pm. Paper ballots will be used in the voting.
The election commission announced the schedule on Thursday.
Election Commissioner Mohammad Jahangir Alam said interested candidates can submit nomination papers till June 15.
The nomination papers will be sorted on June 18 while the last date of withdrawal of candidature is June 25, he added.
The senior election official of Dhaka district will work as the returning officer.
The constituency became vacant following the demise of lawmaker Akbar Hossain Pathan alias Farooq.
Farooque breathed his last while undergoing treatment at Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore on May 15.
