JS budget session begins

The 23rd budget session of the Jatiya Sangsad for fiscal 2023-2024 began Wednesday afternoon with Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair.

The day's proceedings began with recitation from the Holy Quran.

Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal will place the budget on Thursday (June 1).
