Govt establishes ‘reign of terror’: Fakhrul

BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir alleged that the government has established a ‘reign of terror in the country centering their anti-government rally in Khulna.

He said the administration ordered police to arrest BNP leaders and activists besides attacking them. On Thursday, police arrested 19 BNP men, which seems it (Government) is lending the situation into conflict.

Mirza Fakhrul made the allegations at a press conference on Friday morning.

Posing warning that the government has to take responsibility for any unwanted situation centering Khulna rally, he said, they (Government) suspend mass transport and disrupt the normal life of the people.

BNP is scheduled to hold an anti-government protest rally in Khulna on Saturday.
