Appointment of Bangladesh envoy to US cancelled

The government has cancelled the contractual appointment of Bangladesh ambassador to the United States M Shahidul Islam, with effect from September 1, this year, reports BSS.

The Public Administration Ministry issued a gazette notification on Thursday in this regard, saying that the decision was taken because of the application from  Shahidul Islam.
