Saudi Arabia launches attack on Yemen, leaving 1 injured

At least one person has been injured in an attack launched by Saudi Arabia on Yemen, according to reports from Iran’s Mehr News Agency on Thursday.

The assault targeted a border region of Yemen on Thursday evening, local sources confirmed. Initial reports indicate that a Yemeni citizen was injured in the attack.

Earlier this week, Arab sources reported that one Yemeni was killed and an African refugee wounded in a similar Saudi attack on Yemen.

The attack comes amid a period of relative calm in the Yemen conflict, following the resumption of diplomatic ties between Saudi Arabia and Iran. Earlier, Yemen has also recognized China’s role in addressing the ongoing crisis.
