Israeli attacks on sieged Gaza have killed at least 100 people, including four aid workers during the last 24 hours starting from Saturday dawn, reports Al Jazeera.
Of those deceased, at least 40 were killed in a single air raid in Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza.
Earlier, Israeli air attacks on southern Khan Younis killed at least 12 Palestinians waiting for food aid as well as four workers from World Central Kitchen and Save the Children.
However, at least four aid workers including one from World Central Kitchen were killed during the raids.
Israel continues its attack on civilians in Gaza amidst a Hamas delegation is in Cairo amid renewed efforts to reach a ceasefire agreement in Gaza, as Tuesday’s ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah continues to hold despite reports of violations.
The ABC news reported that the IDF in a statement said about the World Central Kitchen: “They were targeting a Hamas “terrorist” involved in the October 7 attacks.”
Israel’s genocide in Gaza has killed at least 44,382 Palestinians and wounded 105,142 since October 7, 2023. At least 1,139 people were killed in Israel during the Hamas-led attacks that day, and more than 200 were taken captive.
In Lebanon, at least 3,961 people have been killed and 16,520 wounded in Israeli attacks since the war on Gaza began.
