The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) expressed grave concern about the fighting in several Sudanese cities between the Sudanese army and the rapid support forces.
The Secretary-General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, Hissein Brahim Taha, in a press statement issued in Jeddah on Sunday (April 16), called for immediate ceasefire and return to the path of dialogue and for reason to prevail, reports Daily Sun.
Taha expressed his confidence in the wisdom of the Sudanese people and leadership and in their ability to surmount this crisis through negotiation and dialogue.
