Gas pressure will remain low for 18 hours in areas served by Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution PLC due to emergency maintenance work at a liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal, which has temporarily reduced gas supply from LNG sources.
In a press release issued on Thursday night, Titas said gas pressure at the consumer end may remain low for all categories of customers from 6:00am on Friday until 12:00am (midnight) on Saturday.
During this period, residential, commercial, and industrial consumers may face temporary inconvenience while using gas, the statement said.
Titas Gas authorities added that gas supply is expected to return to normal once the emergency maintenance work at the LNG terminal is completed.
The company expressed sincere apologies to consumers for the temporary inconvenience caused.
