DITF-2024 to be kicked off tomorrow

The 28th Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF)-2024 will begin tomorrow (Sunday) at Bangabandhu Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Center in Purbachal New Town, on the outskirts of the capital Dhaka.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is scheduled to inaugurate the fair on Sunday, State Minister for Commerce Ahsanul Islam said this while addressing a press conference held at the Bangabandhu Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Center on Saturday.

He said that the highest level of vigilance will be undertaken during the fair to ensure the overall security of visitors or consumers.

The junior minister said that drives would be conducted by the Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection (DNCRP) so that no consumer or visitor would fall victim to cheating at the fair.
