The "Dhaka International Marathon-2025" will be held tomorrow (February 8) in the 300 Feet area of the capital. In preparation for the event, the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has issued traffic guidelines.
A press release from the DMP’s Media and Public Relations Division, issued on Friday, confirmed the details.
"The 'Dhaka International Marathon-2025' will take place tomorrow (February 8), in the 300 Feet area of the capital. In connection with the event, the four lanes on the northern side of the 300 Feet highway, along with the service road from Pragati Sarani towards Kanchan Bridge, will be closed from 7 pm today (February 7) to 2 pm tomorrow (February 8). The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has urged all vehicles to use the southern side’s four-lane road (towards Kanchan Bridge) and the service road (from Kanchan Bridge to Pragati Sarani) during this period," the release said.
