Abdur Rahman(22) killed in gunfight between two groups in Hoikyang, Teknaf

The incident occurred around 10:30 PM on Sunday, November 17, in the Noyabazar area.

The deceased, Abdur Rahman, was the son of Abdus Salam from the West Satghoria Para of Noyabazar in Hoikyang, Teknaf.

Idris, a resident of Noyapara, said that the shooting ensued following a dispute over drug trafficking between two groups, lasting for about an hour. As a result, one person was killed.

Mujherul Islam, the officer-in-charge of the Hoikyang Police Outpost, confirmed that police recovered the body from the scene and sent it to the morgue.

He further stated that the situation is now under control and normal.
