Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Monday forecasted that weather may remain dry over the country for the next 24 hours commencing from this morning.
"Weather may remain dry with a temporary partly cloudy sky over the country," said a met office release.
A seasonal low lies over the South Bay, extending its trough to the North Bay, reports BSS.
Night and day temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
Moderate to thick fog may occur over the northern part and light to moderate fog may occur at places elsewhere over the country during late night till early morning.
The country's maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded at 32 degrees Celsius jointly at Cox's Bazar and Sitakunda and the minimum temperature on Monday was recorded at 14.2 degrees Celsius at Chuadanga.
The sun will set at 05:11pm on Monday and will rise at 06:16am on Tuesday in Dhaka.
