Miscreants torched a bus of Ajmeri Paribahan in front of the Bijaynagar water tank in the capital on Thursday afternoon amid the blockade called by BNP-Jamaat and like-minded parties.
On information, two fire service units rushed to the spot and extinguished the fire.
Miscreants also set fire to two covered vans on the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway at Salna in Gazipur City early Thursday.
On the other hand, unidentified miscreants set on fire to a coach of the intercity Upaban Express, which was parked at Sylhet railway station around 10:00 pm on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, 232 platoons BGB have been deployed throughout the country and adequate BGB personnel are on standby.
