Miscreants torch Bangladesh Bank staff bus at Motijheel

Miscreants set fire to a staff bus of Bangladesh Bank in front of Madhumita Cinema Hall in the capital’s Motijheel on the second day of a 48-hour hartal called by BNP-Jamaat and like-minded parties on Monday.

The incident happened at around 3:15 pm. No casualties were reported in the fire incident.

Ershad Hossain, duty officer of the Department of Fire Service and Civil Defense, said on information, two firefighting units rushed to the spot.
