The seven-member committee of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) sat with seven women footballers in a closed-door meeting at the BFF house on Sunday.
The seven booters were: Sabina Khatun, Monika Chakma, Sheuli Azim, Sathi Biswash, Sagorika, Nasrin Akter and Sumaya Matsushima.
It was the first meeting of this committee which was formed by BFF president Tabith Awal on Friday.
The meeting lasted more than three hours and the committee members sat with seven booters individually.
"We previously sent letters to 18 footballers. Today, we met with 7 of them. On Monday, we will meet with the remaining footballers," said BFF Senior Vice President and Committee Chief Imrul Hassan, speaking to reporters after the meeting.
While asked about the meeting, he replied, "We'll disclose all details (regarding the current issue) after scrutiny.... Our (the committee) task is to find out the reasons, why the SAFF champions came into such situation."
The footballers didn't face media after the meeting.
Meanwhile, national women’s team head coach Peter James Butler continued his on-field training session with junior footballers on Sunday for the second day at the Bangabandhu National Stadium (BNS).
Peter started his session on Saturday with 13 junior footballers out of the 31-member camp amid the senior footballers’ boycott.
However, two more junior booters from U-20s -- Puja Das and Kanon Rani Bahadur – joined Peter’s second-day training.
Later, five more junior booters from the same team reported to the camp on Sunday evening. They are expected to start training today.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh are scheduled to play two away matches against UAE.
