Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has given test for his suspected bowling action in Chennai on Saturday.
A BCB official confirmed the development, adding that now he is waiting for the reports.
“He (Shakib) is waiting for the test report,” said the official.
Shakib worked really hard with his bowling in the nets during the Lanka T10 where he featured for Galle Marvels.
Shakib suffered a fresh blow after the BCB confirmed that his suspension from bowling in England Cricket Board competitions has extended to all domestic competitions outside Bangladesh and in international cricket as well.
The left-arm spinner was reported for a suspect action during his one-off appearance for Surrey in September this year in the county match against Somerset in Taunton. He was subsequently asked to undergo an analysis of his action which later revealed that he had exceeded the 15 degree threshold as defined in the regulations.
