Fortis Football Club split points with Dhaka Wanderers Club when their match ended in a 1-1 goal draw in the Bashundhara Group Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) football held at Bashundhara Kings Arena on Saturday.
In the day's match, forward Sakib Bepari scored for Wanderers while Ukrainian forward Valeriy Gryshyn netted for Fortis Football Club.
Sakib put Dhaka Wanderers Club ahead in the 37th minute while after the breather Valeriy restored the parity for Fortis in the 52nd minute of the match.
After the second goal, although both the teams got several scoring chances but failed to take the lead lacks of proper finishing in the remaining proceeding.
Dhaka Wanderers Club and Fortis Football Club will play their next matches against Chittagong Abahani Limited and Mohammedan Sporting Club on December 27.
Earlier, Fortis Football Club suffered 3-1 goals defeat to Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society in their league opening match, played out to a 1-1 goal draw with Brothers Union Club and managed a 3-0 win over Fakirerpool Young Men's Club.
While Dhaka Wanderers Club suffered 6-0 defeat to Mohammedan in their league opening match, conceded 1-0 defeat to Abahani Limited Dhaka and suffered 4-0 defeat to Bangladesh Police Football Club in their third match of the league.
