Rangpur Riders now Global Super League champions

Rangpur Riders, who were on the verge of elimination after losing their first two matches, have now claimed the champion's crown. The franchise has likely reaped the benefits of maintaining consistency.

On Saturday morning, Riders defeated Victoria by 56 runs in the final of the Global Super League in Guyana. Batting first, Rangpur scored 178 runs for the loss of 3 wickets. In response, Victoria were bowled out for 122 runs.

After winning the BPL title in 2017, the most consistent franchise in Bangladesh has tasted victory again.
