Batting maestro Virat Kohli scored another century as India beat Bangladesh by 7 wickets in World Cup Cricket.
In the match held at Pune on Thursday, winning the toss Bangladesh opted to bat first.
Late-fire by veteran middle order batter Mahmudullah helped Bangladesh crosses 250-runs mark.
Bangladesh started very well with topn-notch performances from openers LitonDas and Tanzid Tamim.
Tamim scored 51 off just 43 balls, while LitonDas scored 66 off 82. In yhe middle Mushfiqur Rahim contributed 38 off 46 balls. Mahmudullah, came to bat out at no.7 and hammered a quick fire of 46 off just 36 balls and Bangladesh scored 256 for 8 in 50 0vers.
Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj and Ravidra Jadeja of India took 2 wickets each.
In reply, India literally had no problem to chase as both their openers started very well. Shubman Gil scored 53 and Rohit Sharman scored 48.
After that Kohli made it very easy for the Indian to secure a comfortable win. He remained unbeaten with 103 runs of 97 balls.
Mehdy Hasan Miraz took 2 wickets for Bangladesh for 47 runs.
