Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan went to the hospital to scan for a suspected hamstring, confirmed by vice-captain Najmul Hossain Shanto.
Shanto in place of the injured Shakib came to the presentation after the match against New Zealand, and said "Shakib has gone for a scan after that we'll know more.”
Tiger captain picked up the injury while completing a run in the 29th over of Bangladesh's innings, when it looked like he had jammed his leg in the ground.
Shakib ended his innings suffering from cramps in the sweltering heat and batting without a helmet or cap against the spinners.
