Bangladesh defeated visiting Ireland by 10 wickets in second one day international match held on Thursday at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.
It was the first 10-wicket victory for the tigers in their cricket history.
Winning the toss, Ireland chose to bat first. However, because of the very tight and attacking bowling of Bangladeshi bowlers, Ireland began to suffocate from the beginning. They just managed to score 101 runs.
Curtis Campher was the top scorer for Irish with 36 from 48 balls.
Hasan Mahmud had a 5-wicket haul in the match for 32 runs, while Taskin Ahmed and Ebadot Hossain took 3 and 2 wickets respectively.
In reply, Bangladesh had no trouble as only the opening pair chase the target down in just 13.1 overs.
Liton Das was unbeaten with 50 from 38 balls, while Tamim Iqbal was also not out on 41 off equal number of balls.
