Irish captain Andy Balbarney won the toss and invited Bangladesh to bat in the first ODI of the three-match series held at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Saturday.
The Bangladesh team, having emerged victorious in the T20 series against the world champions, is now set to face off against Ireland. Commencing today at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium, the three-match ODI series between the two teams will see the unveiling of the trophy, which was done on Friday.
The first two ODIs are scheduled to commence at 2 PM, with the remaining two matches taking place on March 20 and 23. Notably, the final ODI of the series will begin at 2.30 pm. Following the ODI series, the T20 matches between the two teams will be held in Chittagong on March 27, 29, and 31.
