The opposition leader of the parliament and the president of the Jatiya Party, Begum Raushan Ershad seeks to form a coalition with the Awami League in the upcoming parliamentary elections, aiming for 110 seats.

Earlier, on August 19th, Raushan Ershad held talks with Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina at Ganabhaban.
