Popular Bangla rockstar Mahfuz Anam James, famous as Nagar Baul, has become a father again. He has named his child Jibran Anam.
This year, James married Namia Amin, an American citizen of Bangladeshi origin.
Then, the new couple had a son. Before that, he separated from his second wife Benazir, that too a decade ago.
After revealing the name of the child, James shared that feeling with the media. In a reaction, he said, "The feeling of becoming a father is amazing! Thanks God, he has given me a healthy child. Everyone please pray for the mother and the child."
He met Namia in the United States in June 2023. The two met at an event in Los Angeles, and this acquaintance developed from love to marriage. James' third wife Namia Anam was born in the United States.
She graduated from John Jay College there in Criminal Justice. A year after their acquaintance, they got married in Dhaka on June 12, 2024, in the presence of family members.
Then, on June 8, 2025, at 3:30 am, Gibran was born at Huntington Hospital in New York. James and other family members were present in the hospital at the time. After staying in the United States for a month, the couple returned home with their child.
In 1991, James first married film actress Rothi. They divorced in 2003. James has a son and a daughter in that family. James met Benazir Sazzad in 2000.
Then, they went to America and got married. They separated in 2014 later on. They also have a daughter from their second marriage.
