The latest sequel of the Japanese animated blockbuster Demon Slayer, titled Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle, is now being screened in cinemas across the country.
The film is running at Star Cineplex, which announced in a press release that 43 shows are currently being held across its seven branches.
The Japanese animation premiered on July 18, and was later released in theaters across the United States, Canada, India, and several other countries on September 12.
The Demon Slayer journey began in 2020 with Mugen Train, which became a massive box office success. Made with a budget of around $16 million, the film went on to earn over $506 million, setting a record as the highest-grossing Japanese film in history.
Two more sequels followed in 2023 and 2024 — To the Swordsmith Village and To the Hashira Training. The latest installment, Infinity Castle, dives deeper into the sibling bond between Tanjiro and Nezuko.
This chapter reveals the painful backstories behind each demon, often stirring empathy even for the enemies.
