The Bollywood superstar portrays Colonel Bikumalla Santosh Babu in his upcoming film “Battle Of Galwan” based on the 2020 clash between Indian and Chinese forces in the Galwan valley. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, there has been huge excitement for the film ever since it was announced.
Now that he has begun filming in Ladakh, Salman treated fans with a glimpse of his character, and shared the first picture from the sets of the film. The picture showcases Salman in full military regalia, rugged moustache, and a fierce gaze that embodies raw patriotism, reports News18.
On Tuesday, Salman Khan shared a photo from the set that shows him partially visible behind a clapperboard. He is seen dressed in a military uniform, and has a blood mark on his face. Salman is seen with an intense look on his face, and the picture from the set has further heightened fans’ excitement for the film! Sharing the picture, he simply wrote, “#BattleOfGalwan."
Needless to say, fans went gaga over his look from Battle Of Galwan sets in Ladakh. “Theatre me aag laga dena hai," commented one fan, while another one already called it a “Blockbuster." A third comment read, “Bhai Again In Form."
Salman is gearing up for one of the most important shooting schedules of the film. The team will film in climax sequences in Leh and Ladakh over the next 2-3 weeks. A source told the news portal, “Galwan’s climax is among the most important parts of the film, both visually and emotionally. Given Leh and Ladakh’s unpredictable weather, the makers want to ensure the quality of these sequences is not compromised. That is why they are planning to complete as much as possible during this schedule itself."
