For quite some time now, Feluda and Byomkesh have been missing from the screen. However, director Srijit Mukherji hasn't kept audiences waiting for too long. Now, he brings good news. A brand-new Feluda series is set to release this Puja season.
Bringing an end to the long wait, the new Feluda series " Jwoto Kando Kathmandute" (Trouble in Kathmandu) is finally arriving. Directed by Srijit Mukherji, the series will premiere on Addatimes.
This time, Feluda, Topshe, and Jatayu venture beyond the borders of Kolkata to the Nepalese city of Kathmandu. Although this series was completed nearly six years ago, it couldn’t be released due to various legal and production-related complications.
As always, Tota Roy Chowdhury returns as Feluda. He will be joined by Anirban Chakrabarti as Jatayu and Kalpan Mitra as Topshe. Set against the mysterious and mountainous backdrop of Kathmandu, the series promises one thrilling event after another. The director himself has announced the release date of the series.
Since then, fans’ excitement has been through the roof.
Srijit’s journey with Feluda began in 2020 with the series "Feluda Ferot". This was followed by "Bhushorgo Rohoshyo", "Feludar Goyendagiri", and "Chhinnomostar Abhishap", all of which were well received by audiences. Now, the much-anticipated " Jwoto Kando Kathmandute" is all set to be added to that list. Releasing just before the Puja festivities, the series has rekindled a wave of excitement among Feluda fans.
