Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan has been making headlines in recent weeks with announcements of multiple new projects lined up for Eid and beyond.
The actor unveiled the first look of his upcoming film “Prince: Once Upon a Time in Dhaka”, directed by Abu Hayat Mahmud on Friday afternoon.
Sharing the poster on his official social media, Shakib wrote: “A new chapter has been announced – the city will know its real hero!! Here comes the Myth in motion – #PRINCE: Once Upon A Time In Dhaka. A story where the city meets its Legend. Directed by Abu Hayat Mahmud and produced by Creative Land.”

The poster, set against a blood-red backdrop, depicts a crowd of people wielding guns. Among them, Shakib Khan is seen from behind with his hands raised. While his face remains obscured, his stance suggests a powerful new avatar—this time as a gangster.
The poster also features names of iconic locations across Dhaka, including Uttara, Gabtoli, Mohammadpur, Badda, Karwan Bazar, Shankhari Bazar, and Gandaria.
Production for the film is expected to begin soon, with Shakib Khan starring alongside three leading heroines. The movie is slated for release on Eid-ul-Fitr 2026.
Meanwhile, Shakib is also set to begin shooting for another film, “Soldier”, in September. Directed by Shakib Fahad, the project will feature Tanjin Tisha opposite the star.
Shakib Khan’s latest film “Taandob”, directed by Raihan Rafi, was released in theatres on Eid-ul-Azha. This action-thriller film received a huge response after its release.
