Veteran Indian actor Achyut Potdar, known for his prolific work in Hindi and Marathi cinema, passed away on Monday at the age of 91, reports NDTV.
He died at Jupiter Hospital in Thane, where he had been admitted due to health complications.
The cause of death has not been disclosed.
In a career spanning over four decades, Potdar featured in more than 125 films, including 3 Idiots, Parinda, Tezaab, Rangeela, and Lage Raho Munna Bhai.
Before entering the entertainment industry at age 44, Potdar served in the Indian Army and later worked at Indian Oil Corporation.
